About Merion

I began practicing yoga in 2008, initially attracted to the physical (asana) aspect of it. I’ve had a lifelong love of sports including swimming, rowing, and running, but yoga- asana and beyond- has become a steady refuge, helping me balance an active lifestyle with a need for calm.

Yoga has been there for me during big life changes, including pregnancy, motherhood, loss, and other transitions, supporting both physical and emotional strength. In 2021, I received my 200-hour RYT certification from the Bellingham Yoga Collective, and since then, I've taken more courses in yin yoga, trauma informed yoga, anatomy, and meditation. Currently, I'm continuing my education in a 300-hour program with Jason Crandell.

If I’m not on my mat, chances are I’m on an outside adventure with my family, reading a good book, or maybe in the kitchen baking up something doughy.

Whether you're seeking to deepen your practice or just find your flow, I'm here to support you. Together, we can explore the connection between breath and movement, creating a space for growth, healing and self-discovery.
